We did the Ang Thong day trip with a group of six. The crew was attentive without being in your face about it — snorkel gear was already laid out before we anchored, and the lunch Napat made was genuinely one of the better meals we had in Thailand. The park itself is extraordinary and the approach by yacht rather than the big tour boat makes a real difference.

The Samui to Koh Tao passage was the highlight of our two-week trip. Thanapol made good decisions about the routing and anchorages; the overnight at Koh Phangan was particularly nice — we had a quiet bay to ourselves. The yacht was comfortable, food was good, and Somsak knew the best snorkel spot at Koh Tao that the dive boats don't go to.

We chartered for a work group — eight people. The crew managed the day well, kept everyone comfortable, and adjusted the pace when a couple of the group wanted to kayak longer than planned. Some charters worth describing in detail

A family of five, first time sailing in Thailand

Challenge

The family included two children aged seven and ten, neither of whom had been on a yacht before. The parents were unsure whether the full-day Ang Thong charter would be too long, and one child was anxious about the open water.

Solution

Before confirming the booking, the family spoke with Thanapol about their concerns. He suggested they start with the coastal cruise, and if the children were comfortable, they could consider the longer charter on a future visit. The coastal route allowed a calm introduction to the boat and the water.

Result

Both children were relaxed within the first thirty minutes. The younger one snorkeled independently at the reef stop. The family returned the following year for the Ang Thong day trip — which is now a fixed part of their annual trip to Koh Samui.

A couple's anniversary, Samui to Koh Tao passage

Challenge

A couple planning a ten-year anniversary wanted something more memorable than a resort dinner but wasn't sure whether a multi-day charter was manageable without sailing experience, or whether it would feel too adventurous.

Solution

Napat worked with them ahead of time on the meal planning for the passage. Thanapol explained the route and overnight anchorages in advance so they had a clear picture of what each day would involve. The itinerary was adjusted to include a longer stay at Koh Tao.

Result

The five-day passage covered Koh Phangan's quieter east coast, two days at Koh Tao, and a different anchorage on the return. They described it as the best part of a month-long trip through Southeast Asia.
